Andy Warhol directed a film called “Batman Dracula”

Batman Dracula is a 1964 black and white American film produced and directed by famous artist Andy Warhol -without the permission of DC Comics, of course.

Screened only at Warhol’s art exhibits, the movie was made as a “homage” according to the artist, who was a big fan of the comic book character.

Considered to be the first film featuring a blatantly campy Batman (it was released two years before Adam West’s infamous TV series), Batman Dracula is presumed to be lost.
