McDonald’s used to sell pizzas

During the 80s, McDonald’s was as big a food chain as it is today. After introducing breakfasts and other options, they considered selling pizzas.

However, they encountered many problems: a higher cost for customers, a product that didn’t adapt well to drive-thru orders, and big (and unhappy) competitors like Pizza Hut.

There are two restaurants still selling it in the United States.
