Upon opening his crypt, Salvador Dalí’s famous mustache remained intact

Now that’s surrealism: Upon opening his crypt in 2017, famous artist Salvador Dalí’s equally famous mustache remained in a perfect state after 28 years.

This was revealed by the Catalan artist’s exhumation for DNA testing to settle a paternity claim by a TV fortune teller that she is his secret lovechild.

Dalí had been embalmed; his embalmer said:

The handlebars of his mustache were still “marking (the time of) 10 past 10” as he wished.
