Toto’s lead singer is the son of Star Wars composer John Williams

Joseph Stanley Williams is an American rock singer and film score composer -just like his dad, famous Star Wars composer John Williams.

Joseph is best known for his work in the rock band Toto, which he fronted from 1986 to 1988, and again from 2010 to the present. His mother is actress Barbara Ruick; his grandparents are also famous: jazz drummer Johnny Williams and actors Melville Ruick and Lurene Tuttle.

John Williams’s career spans six decades and he’s responsible for some of the most popular and recognizable scores such as Jaws, Schindler’s List, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Superman: The Movie, the Indiana Jones series, the first two Home Alone films, the first two Jurassic Park films, and the first three Harry Potter films!
