Welsh government responded in Klingon to UFO airport query

The Welsh government went full-geek and chose Klingon (the language from Star Trek) to respond to queries about UFO sightings at Cardiff Airport in 2015.

While English and Welsh are the usual forms of communications, when politician Darren Millar asked for details of the sightings, a Welsh government spokesman responded with:

jang vIDa je due luq, ‘ach ghotvam’e’ QI’yaH devolve qaS.

This can be translated as:

The minister will reply in due course. However this is a non-devolved matter.

Since its birth on the long-lived series, fans have expanded the dialect into a full-fledged language, including its own grammar and spelling rules.
