Writer’s block was invented by people in California who couldn’t write – Terry Pratchett

The late, great fantasy writer didn’t believe in writer’s block. The Englishman blamed “Californians” for having invented it as an excuse. Here’s the full quote:

There’s no such thing as writer’s block. That was invented by people in California who couldn’t write.

Pratchett has a legion of fans thanks to his long saga Discworld. He passed away in 2015 at age 66.
