  1. What is What a Fact?

    What a Fact! is a site for fact lovers. Facts are one of the most shared things on the web because they’re always interesting, sometimes funny and many times, weird. What a Fact! allows you to surf through our categories and find facts related to all kinds of topics.

  2. Do I need to register?

    You don’t need to register to see and share facts, but being a registered user allows you to publish your own facts! Just remember to publish facts that are known to be true and/or come from a reliable source (even though you don’t have to include it).

    You’ll also be able to leave comments on other users’ facts, and reply to comments on your own facts.

  3. How do I register?

    Register in just a few clicks. Open the menu on the top right and click on “Sign in”. Enter a username and a password, accept our Terms of Use, and that’s it! Now you can start publishing your own facts and leaving comments.

  4. What happens when I follow a user? (or someone follows me?)

    When you follow a user on What a Fact!, you won’t miss any of their facts, because they’ll appear on your profile’s homepage. Your followers will also see your facts on their profiles.

  5. How do I follow a user?

    To follow a user, just click the “Follow” button on their profile. From then on, you’ll see their latest facts on your profile.

  6. I can't find a fact

    If you’re looking for a particular fact and can’t seem to find it, use our Search box. You’ll find it on the menu on the top right of the page.

  7. I have more questions!

    We’d love to hear from you! If you’ve got any doubts or suggestions, be sure to get in touch via your favorite social network. And follow us to be up-to-date with all the latest facts! You’ll find all our profiles at the end of the page.


How to use What a Fact!

Please follow our recommendations so your facts and comments can be published, liked and shared by other users.

Facts are one of the most shared things on the web, but please don’t copy-paste! Before you publish, check your text to avoid spelling and grammar mistakes. Avoid ALL-CAPS and internet slang, please (LOL, XD). Use numerals (“10”) in place of words (“ten”) for numbers. Don’t use periods at the end of headings.

What a Fact! has a team of moderators who supervise content published on the site. Still, here are some community guidelines.

Be friendly and respectful, other users will appreciate it! Facts and comments deemed inappropriate will be deleted or edited at our discretion. Try to keep comments on-topic to either the comment which you’re replying to or the general topic (the fact). Spam is forbidden.
